Kundalini is known as the yoga of awareness. All forms of yoga seek to reunite the soul with the spirit, to rise above the idea of a separate self, and achieve oneness.

Through the use of breathing techniques, postures, mudras, chanting and meditation, Kundalini yoga offers you an experience of your soul.


In Kundalini we also work with and through the chakras. The aim of Kundalini Yoga is to awaken the dormant life energy that sits in the nerve ganglia at the base of the spine. You can think of this energy as a light force which we activate during yoga practise. As we move, breath and chant the energy rises up through the central channel of the spine towards the crown of the head, where it travels back down via the vagus nerve, constantly renewing and replenishing itself.


This process is deeply cleansing, releasing and healing. Turning on the vagus nerve, we move from a state of tension into the calm, stability of the parasympathetic nervous system - this is why doing Kundalini feels so good!
